The Association will try to assist tenants who wish to transfer from one of the Associations properties to another owned by us or the NIHE or any other Registered Housing Association. If you want to move, you request a Transfer form from our head office. All transfer cases will be awarded points in line with the Common Selection Scheme for Northern Ireland.
Factors that will be considered when a tenant requests a transfer will be similar to those used for new applicants and will include a need to be closer to relatives or work. A member of staff will discuss the request for a transfer and assess the possibility of a move with the tenant.
Advice can also be given to tenants who wish to move out of the area to another part of the county, or who need accommodation of a kind the Association can no longer provide.
