Restrictions on Admittance of Shareholding Members The Association has agreed that applications for shareholding membership shall not be eligible for approval in the following cases: persons under the age of eighteen; employees of the Association or other subsidiary organisations of Rural Housing Association; employees of current contractors / consultants retained by the Association or other subsidiary organisations of Rural Housing Association; any person who has previously been expelled from shareholding membership of the Association or any other subsidiary organisation of Rural Housing Association; Other limitations on shareholding membership exist as follows: Whilst the Association encourages applications from its tenants and leaseholders, the level of Tenant / Leaseholder membership is formally limited to 30% of the total shareholding membership under the Rules. The Association may at its discretion reject applications from tenants who are in breach of their terms of tenancy or lease. (8) Applications for Shareholding Membership Applications must be made in writing on the Association’s approved Application Form and submitted with a cheque or postal order (if submission is by post) for £1.00 to: The Company Secretary Rural Housing Association Limited Tollgate house 2 Killyclogher Road Omagh Co Tyrone BT79 0AX The Association’s Board of Management has authority to approve or reject applications.
