1.3 PREVIOUS INSPECTION & GRADINGS


1.4 SCOPE

This Inspection has assisted the Team to determine whether the
Association is:

 A viable organisation

 Operating a framework that effectively identifies and manages
risks

 Striving for continuous improvement in the services it provides to

its customers.
 Checking progress against the implementation of the previous

recommendations.


1.5 INSPECTION OBJECTIVES

The following objectives of the inspection were to evaluate and provide
an opinion on the internal workings and control procedures within the

Association.


Financial Management

To ensure that the Association operates a viable business with
adequate recourse to financial resources in order to meet its current

and future business commitments in accordance with the Housing
Association Guide.



Property Development
To examine the approach taken by the Association in relation to project

management, its performance in meeting key target and, the
procedures adopted in relation to procurement and contract

management.


Property Management

To examine the approach taken by the Association in relation to the
management and maintenance of its existing stock and assess the
