Frozen and Burst Pipes – Advice to Tenants
We are receiving a lot of telephone calls in relation to frozen or burst pipes. We have in place a new Call Centre Number and are working closely with our contractors to deal with the problems as quickly as possible.
As soon as we receive your call we will issue the order to our contractors; our contractors will call with you as soon as they possibly can. Where the problem can be repaired immediately this will be done.
However in many cases we have found that heating systems are not working because of frozen pipes. In these situations our contractors cannot carry out a repair. They will give advice on thawing the pipe and where there is no heating, will provide temporary heaters.
