The Association specialies in providing self contained general needs housing and is not involved in sheltered housing provision.
Where specific housing requirements can be identified at the planning/feasibility stage the Association works closely with the health trusts to ensure that the housing provided is designed for use by those with physical disabilities/mobility difficulties.
All general needs housing is built to "lifetime home" standards to facilitate and reduce the cost of future adaptations.
It is Association policy that all new dwellings meet "secured by design standards" in an effort to combat the liklihood of tenants becoming victims of crime.
